Cupping

Cupping refers to a 2,500 year old ancient Chinese practice where
a cup is placed on certain areas on the body where the underlying
tissues are drawn into the cup. When the cup is left on the affected
area for a couple of minutes a blood stasis is formed and localized
healing can take place.
Cupping can be used on the meridian points of the body to open
the pathways in the body to prompt healing of every organ and tissue
in the body. Cupping has been found to affect the body up deep into
the tissues being treating, this releasing toxins, activating the
lymphatic system, clearing colon blockages. Cupping is considered
the best deep tissue massage available.
Cupping is currently recommended for the treatment of pain, gastro-intestinal
disorders, lung diseases (especially chronic cough and asthma),
and paralysis.
